| Started in 1995 by Karen Battles and James Shanley, a wife-and-husband team, B Designs has grown from a simple home-basement operation selling locally, to a modern letterpress operation with sales throughout the United Sates. B Designs Letterpress designs and prints a complete line of greeting cards, social stationery and gift items. The company's products are understated, in both size and design, with simple iconic illustrations and delicate type-faces from yesteryear that re imprinted onto a soft white recycled paper via a process as old as printing itself — letterpress. The combination of modern technologies with letterpress printing results in the look that gives B Designs Letterpress its very distinctive identity. With their blank interiors and panels with lots of white space, the cards present a graphical framework for people who value the beauty of a hand written note and encourage the time-honored tradition of a personal message. Lucky came to B Designs Letterpress in August of 2005. Lucky is Director of Perimeter Security, Deliveries Notification Specialist, and Company Food Taster. Unconfirmed intelligence briefings imply that he is a Brazilian Terrier, but we are awaiting third party confirmation. B Designs Letterpress prints all its own cards in a modern letterpress shop located north of Boston in Amesbury Massachusetts. | Mentions"Simple + Pretty”, a blog devoted to “pretty paper and pretty things”, showed a number of Just a Line flat cards. The letterpress lobster, paper clip, pencil and cupcake small flat cards were shown.
